Berkshire Menopause Clinic is a dedicated menopause, gynaecology & women's Health Clinic.
Founded by accredited menopause specialist, community gynaecologist, and women’s health GP, Dr Shilpa McQuillan, we provide women across Reading Berkshire and Henley-on-Thames, with specialist, accessible menopause, gynaecology, and women's health care. Our CQC registered private clinic in Henley-on-Thames provides a calm space, where every individual is listened to and their symptoms understood. We also offer virtual appointments to provide accessibility for all of our patients.
We understand every woman’s experience of hormonal changes is different, and we provide evidence-based treatment plans, tailored to meet your individual needs. Our approach is holistic, and includes lifestyle, exercise, and nutrition advice, non-hormonal medicines, and hormone replacement therapy.
We are a ‘one-stop’ menopause and women's health clinic, where all women's health needs can be met in the same place. Services include menopause and gynaecology consultations, cervical screening and breast checks, prescriptions, blood tests, and a full range of contraceptive services including implant and coil fittings.

Meet Our Women's Health, Menopause & Gynaecology Specialist
Dr Shilpa McQuillan

Dr Shilpa is a British Menopause Society accredited menopause specialist, NHS community gynaecologist and women’s health GP.
In 2024, Shilpa was awarded as Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRCOG), the highest accolade awarded by RCOG.
Shilpa began her medical career in hospital gynaecology, before moving into community gynaecology, and further qualifying as a women’s health GP. With over fifteen years’ experience in this field, she found growing numbers of women asking for dedicated perimenopause and menopause support, which inspired her to train to the highest qualification in advanced menopause practice and establish her own clinic.

With a background in gynaecology, Dr Shilpa is more than a menopause expert. She offers the highest level of expertise in all aspects of women’s health, providing care to those who have struggled to find solutions elsewhere, and women with complex medical backgrounds. Passionate about the NHS and all it stands for, Dr Shilpa continues to work as a women’s health GP and NHS community gynaecologist, alongside her work in the clinic.
Educating and empowering women of all ages with knowledge about their health is Dr Shilpa’s passion. She is the women’s health columnist for Henley Life magazine and the Henley Standard newspaper and regularly teaches in schools, having worked to incorporate menopause and gynaecology into the curriculum. And because community is at the heart of all she does, Dr Shilpa frequents as an expert speaker in workplaces and at medical seminars, as well as hosting menopause workshops for charities and organisations.
