Meet Our Founder — Dr Shilpa McQuillan

Dr Shilpa is a British Menopause Society-accredited menopause specialist, NHS community gynaecologist, and women's health GP. She serves on the British Menopause Society Advisory Council and has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG)—the college’s highest honour.

Her medical journey began in hospital gynaecology, where she developed a deep foundation in women’s health before transitioning into community gynaecology and general practice. With over 15 years of experience, Dr Shilpa recognised the growing need for expert, compassionate menopause care, leading her to pursue the highest level of training in advanced menopause practice and establish her own specialist women's health clinic.

With extensive background in gynaecology and advanced menopause care, Dr Shilpa provides expert care across the full spectrum of women’s health, including those with complex backgrounds or who have struggled to find solutions elsewhere. Committed to the values of the NHS, she continues to work as a women’s health GP and NHS community gynaecologist alongside her independent practice.
